A mini tour from SMPN 1 Probolinggo

Tell the truth, we don't expect too much that our English Club will attract more attentions from many people, we don't even expect that group of junior high school students from out of town, exactly Probolinggo came to visit us in June 20th 2013. However, yeayyy that means our English Club is considered as something special for them.

This took place at Multimedia building 7th floor FIB UB started from 11.00 am till 2.15 pm.  At the time, We were the host try to give them the best services. We gave them a show, how very clever we were in speak english, we exposed them Simulation of Debate in which we were trying to catch more their own attentions that English is not only speaking just as usual but also giving beautiful skill in delivering arguments.

We did many things at the time for them, we also did not forget to convey our activities in campus, ranging from debate exercises, speaking class and many more.

We hope that from this activity, they can start loving studying English (more) and never think that studying English is difficult anymore. Studying English and all stuff about it are really fun indeed!

Friends from Whitefriars Catholic College, Victoria, to FIB UB

The previous Thursday, on July 4^th 2013 exactly, we were being visited by some friends from Whitefriars Catholic College, Victoria, at FIB. There were 16 people who came to visit us. They came to Indonesia to learn Bahasa Indonesia, see and take a closer look of our awesome culture and its many varieties. Before they went to Malang and visited our faculty, these people went to Yogyakarta and Surabaya too. They were so fun and friendly like we just made friends already!

New formation, new generation of English Club 2013!

Welcome to the new formation of English Club 2013! Congratulations to Nahda Fayla Shofa from English Literature 2011 as the new chief of English Club period 2013-2014. Hope our club can be received by everyone in our beloved Faculty of Culture Studies.

On Saturday 6^th April 2013, for the first time after an election of the new chief, we spent a great time in our first meeting to sing songs together with all members of English club 2013. We took place at NAV karaoke started from 3 pm till 7 pm. It was really fun when we were singing together and playing some good music. This activity's purpose was to increase our relationships among all of the members. Beside that, this activity taught us more about the capability in every aspect of English such as speaking, listening, and also spelling in order to produce a better sound in English conversation.

So, what are you waiting for? Let’s join English Club! You already know about what we were doing in the first meeting, it was so fun indeed yet educational . Let’s have some fun again more and more by joining us, fellas!
