Rise In Nationalism Be Proud Of Indonesia!
That is the theme of our ECIOT this year. What is ECIOT actually?
ECIOT is English Club Internal Open Tournament, it is an English competition that involved students in Faculty of Culture Studies. This year ECIOT will be held on 26th october which is not so far with the day of Sumpah Pemuda. We want to bring the nationalism spirit in this competition and we would like to invite the young people in Faculty of Culture Study to join this competition in order to grab the nationalism spirit and create an image of Great Indonesia in our heart, the Young People!
News
casting:
1. The participant is active student
from faculty of culture studies 2012-2014
2. The participant must wear a formal dress
code
3. Preliminary round: In this section, the
contestant should read two news that have been given by the committee at the
technical meeting. The contestant will have 7 minutes to present.
4.
Semi
final round : Contestant should be able to read the
news that have been given on the spot by the committee with partner choosing randomly
at that time and 5 minutes to present
5.
Grand
final: You will be givenone news on the spot and 5 minutes
to present.
Speech:
1. The participant is active student
from faculty of culture studies 2012-2014
2. The participant must wear a formal dress
code
3. Preliminary
round:In this
section, the contestant is expected to make a speech with a theme that has been
prepared by the committee.
4. Grand
finalround:The
contestant should be able to make a speech with a theme that has been given on
the spot.

1.

Each
team consist of 3 person
3.
The
participants are not allow to bring gadgets during the competition
4.
Preliminary round 1: participant will get prepare motion to be
debated
5.
Preliminary round 2: the same as the preliminary round 1
6.
Semi final : there will be 6 teams that will
continue to the grand final and the will get a prepare motion to be debated
7.
Grand final: two teams should be able to have
argument with impromptu motion.

B). EDUCATION
1. THW drop 2013 curriculum in
Indonesia education system
2. THW, as secular states, forbid the
public universities for taking the right of the students to wear hijab
3. THBT mini thesis should not be the
requirement of students’ graduation in university
C). WAR
1. THW abolish the use of Army
2. THW condemn cyber war
3. THW include women in military
conscription
Story telling:
1.
The
participant is active student from faculty of culture studies 2012-2014
2.
The participant must wear a creative costume
that suitable with their story
3.
Preliminary round: the participant will present their
own story that they make, and the story is about legend or fairytale
4.
Final round:the participant must be able to collaborate
with other participant in one story that has been provided by committee
5.
Grand final:the participant must be able to
create a story with a picture on slide that has been provided by committee; in
this section all participants are free to explore their imagination to create
the story.
